Nuthouse Sports Grill

The first time I tried this place I ordered a burger and fries. A simple menu item that should be easy to prepare. I was very wrong. I ordered medium rare and received charcoal. Not an exaggeration, the burger literally was covered with charred and burnt soot. It was inedible and disgusting. I don't know how this actually left the kitchen. They should be embarrassed. The waitress thought I was crazy, but when I asked her if this was something she would eat or serve, she laughed and said heck no. No refund was offered, and no gesture of apology or substitution. I decided to give them a second shot a couple months later, staying away from the burgers of course. The place was empty, and I was the only guest, so I assumed I would get quick and efficient service. Boy was I wrong. It took 15 minutes just to get the drink order, it was only a Coke. The waitress was far too concerned with text-messaging on her cell phone to take my order. I waited for another 20 minutes. During the entire wait, she was chatting in the back with a co-worker. I made eye contact, waved, and gestured for her to take my order, I don't think her brain was turned on. She then disappeared in the back. I waited some more time. I actually had to get up from the dining room and go back to the kitchen area and ask someone if my waitress was going to take my order. As I was getting my coat, after having waisted over 45-60 minutes, she came to the table looking at me with a confused look. I guess her attention span was too limited to realize that she was at work. Don't waste your time with these "Nuts".
