        The Academy of Arts in Largo, Florida seeks to fill and important need in the pet grooming industry by providing proper training for those individuals who intend to pursue a pet grooming career. An Eight, Twelve, or Sixteen Week Dog Grooming Program is available for students with no previous training or experience in the dog grooming trade. An Advanced Eight Week Dog Grooming Program is available for those students who have acquired previous training or work experience grooming dogs. Workshops are also offered once a month to the general public to improve their own grooming skills at home.

        Academy of Animal Arts will host a workshop on Saturday January 5th, 2013. "BYOD" -BRING YOUR OWN DOG is a monthly workshop offered the first or second Saturday of each month for the pet owner or professional groomer that wants to further their grooming skills. Everything you need to know to groom your dog.. Includes Prep, Wash, Dry, and Finish your dog. Workshop taught by Teri Bialek, Director. Workshop hours are from 11am - 4pm... fee is only $50 for the entire day. To reserve your spot, along with your dog's, please call 727-517-9546.
