I fly in from Los Angeles just to go to this dental office. The staff are so professional, but also feel like my friends. Dr. Chawla’s work is unparalleled. I have had everything from fillings and whitenings to cosmetic veneers done- I’ve never experienced any pain, and my teeth always feel so much cleaner and whiter than anywhere else. They are super flexible with appointments – when you walk in there’s literally whole coconuts filled with coconut water in a fridge in the waiting room. I love this office, I won’t let anyone else near my teeth!
Crowns
Endodontic therapy, often called a root canal, is performed on a tooth that is so severely decayed or infected that it is in danger of being lost. It is also performed on a tooth that will not stop hurting after a restoration has been done. We perform root canal therapy as an in-office procedure under local anesthesia. After gently removing the infected or inflamed pulp, we carefully shape and disinfect the inside of the canal. The canal is then filled and sealed with a biocompatible material. We use state of the art techniques and equipment to complete our procedures and to make patients feel as comfortable as possible. In most cases, we can complete this procedure in a single visit. Occasionally, we do refer our patients to a trusted specialist if the infection or case is severe. Additional testing for infection or pain source can also be done at some of our referral offices if needed. Once it has been completed, the remaining tooth structure may be more brittle than before, therefore a crown is usually completed to keep the durability and integrity of the tooth.
