Overall

I don't understand why he has some "good" on-line reviews, or how he has been in business for so long. I think it's around 30 years. He must treat his clients differently. If he likes you, he takes better care of you, I suppose.

I went to him twice. He's rude and grossly overcharges. Both times he kept me waiting forever for very simple alterations. Never again! I now go to Ready Tux at the Boulevard Mall.

Overall
very disgruntled & out of pocket

I was happy to pay the exorbitant fee of $200 to alter the zip in my wedding dress to lacing as Joe said all the right things - stiffening, lacing from below waist, discreet panelling etc even though he was rude and abrupt and would only discuss with my soon to be husband.

What we got back on the day of our wedding was embarrassing. I couldn't believe the atrocity he made us pay up front for - the eyelets are uneven and start an inch above the waist so the dress slips down and can't be pulled in firmly, there is no stiffening so even if the dress is pulled tight then the entire back buckles horrendously, seams are poorly executed where you can now see the overlocked edges sticking out through the lacing and, to cap it off, HE SEWED THE DRESS UP TO THE WAIST!

My waist is 10 inches smaller than my bust so it was now impossible to get into. My bridesmaids had to cut the newly sewn in seam 2 inches just so I could get it on and even then I had to wear a wide belt to keep the dress in place.

I was devastated and when I spoke to Joe about the end result he seemed to not understand the consequences of having sewn up the dress.

Now that we're back home it has cost me another $200 to repair to the quality of work that was promised in the first place.

If you need a dress altered that is of somewhat significance, please, don't take it to Milano's, I'd hate to think someone else's beautiful day would be devastating thanks to this measly man
