My EyeLab

Displaced by Hurricane Irma, I had to move to New Jersey before the eyeglasses I had ordered would be delivered to the My Eyelab store in Lauderhill, Florida. So I asked Vanessa if she would have them shipped to me when they came in, and she very graciously obliged.

Ten months later, when my glasses needed to be replaced under the warranty, I asked Joey if he would arrange to have it done by shipping them back and forth between New Jersey and Florida, and he too cheerfully accommodated me.

Joey had informed me that my model of frames has been discontinued, so I asked him to pick out something as close to the original as possible in both style and color. I was worried about what they would look like, since I had to order them sight unseen, but I was astounded when they arrived! Not only were they very similar to the original, I actually liked them even BETTER, which is amazing, because when I'd picked out the original, I had tried on all of the frames in the store in doing so!

As everyone in our society who has enough years behind them knows, customer service has declined precipitously over the last several decades. But one would never know it had one been doing business only with My Eyelab/Stanton Optical in general, and with the Lauderhill My Eyelab location in particular.
