Bad experience - they lie about costs and their only interest is to keep you coming back in for more visits and try more medications for additional costs with no results. One person tells me there is no cost for a follow up visit and then SURPRISE .... there is a cost. Not only a cost for the follow up visit, but more costs because the original medication didn't work. So now "let's try this" happens for additional costs. And what was the vet's response when I told her that I was informed on my first visit that there wouldn't be charge for the follow up visit? "I don't get paid a dime either way - I'm on salary." Which translates to "I don't give a crap, I'm getting paid". The vet technician was no better. The first thing she did was try to SELL me flea/tick prevention before I even spoke with the vet. I refused to sign her documentation for the order saying that I wanted to speak to the vet first. What happened to the people that actually care for your animals instead of making a sale? VCA Promenade Animal Hospital ONLY CARES ABOUT MAKING MONEY. And they will continue to up-sell you until the day your animal dies. Which will be soon if you continue your care with this company because they just don't care about your animal, as long as you have money to spend.

Yeah OK stay away from the lies and deception this place dishes out.... They tell one thing, then slap you with a bill that is so wrong. They play with your emotions and lie to you to get you to perform some thing that no other vet or boarder by law has to do.



Then when you go get your animal and the bill is not right they do not care, pay it or get out and oh yeah your abandoning your animal.. THIS PLACE HOLDS YOUR ANIMALS FOR RANSOM. Just be glad you can dispute your transactions at the bank...



Shame on you for playing with people and their emotions... I will never go to another VCA clinic again and I will do my best to make sure that the LAUDERHILL location never gets another client..



RUN people before it is too late.

I had to find a place that could take care of my kitty who needed surgery for a femoral head fracture. Our vet didn't do the surgery so we had to go out and about to find someone that did. I called several places ,spoke to vets, etc...but as soon as I came across VCA Promenade, my search ended. Dr Clarke is AWESOME -- he and his staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The initial consultation, he explained everything in a way the others had not --- and he was just so personable that I took to him right away. I left with my estimated cost... called my hubby on the way home and by the time I reached home, I called the office back to schedule my kitty's surgery. The visits after surgery were just as informative, personable and great! Although this VCA location is not our "local" one, when you find a vet you really enjoy, you don't mind having to drive a little out of your way to continue to see them. THUMBS up to the Wonderful Staff at VCA Promenade....we will be seeing you soon!!
