Founded in 1908, Temple Israel of Lawrence is a reform congregation for Jews denominations, dual-faith families, singles and students. It offers a range of social activities and serves Long Island. The institution maintains a center that serves the needs of its Religious School. The center has a library for children and adults, auditorium, Chapel for worship, classrooms, areas for various programs and meetings and banquet facilities for weddings. The institution provides a fun learning program, Bat Mitzvah, for students through grade 12. It also has a nursery school that features a gymnasia, classroom facilities, indoor and outdoor play areas and ground pools. Temple Israel of Lawrence is located in Lawrence, N.Y.
