Lawrenceville-Suwanee Animal Hospital

We have taken four generations of our pets (two cats, three pooches) to Lawrenceville-Suwannee Animal Hospital. They have always provided loving, courteous and thorough care for all of our animals. They have done such a good job over the years that we wouldn't consider going to another pet hospital. We can highly recommend this facility for all around pet care.

My dog broke her leg while we were out of town. She is a 10 pd almost 10 year old dog. We had the worst experience coming home and bring her to this vet. We scheduled an appt and they didn't even tell us we would not see a dr. but a fill-in who did nothing but weigh her and look at the x-ray and tell us we would have to come back to see a dr. We were still charged a $50 exam fee though. Subsequently, we were told she could be in her soft cast for 3 weeks and when we brought her back her break was worse and were charged over $500 to re-xray and cast her leg. It was a terrible and heartbreaking experience I would not recommend to anyone who loves their pet. This office does not care about animals and seems to only care about the money. When we asked for some help on pricing for subsequent treatment based on how much we had already paid, we got nothing. No creativity or payment plan options to help our dog. Just seemed like they really didn't want our business nor did they want to help an injured animal which just seems out of the norm for what a vet should be like.

Dr. Karous from Lawrenceville Suwanee Animal Hospital has been our vet since 1996. Dr. Karous and her staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. They sincerely care about all of the pets in their care. We would recommend them to anyone.

I have had my pets cared for at Lawrenceville-Suwanee Animal Hospital for more than 12 years. I live in Duluth, GA and LSAH is located in Lawrenceville. There are a number of other veterinary clinics much closer to my home but the care my pets have received at LSAH make the extra mileage worthwhile.



I am very much a dog lover and I know that sentiment is shared with the personnel at LSAH. I have an older German Shepherd and Dr Karous and her staff have always treated her as a family member. We have always received prompt attention and all of our questions and concerns have been addressed thoroughly. Following any treatment or procedure the staff always calls a few days later just to check on my pet. I believe the services are fair and reasonably priced and I feel very confident entrusting the care of my best friend to LSAH.

I have been to Dr Karous and LSAH for a number of years now and would not go elsewhere. My pets have always been treated professionally and with the greatest compassion. The prices for services, meds and products seem to be in line with other vets in the area. I highly reccomend LSAH!

I would highly recommend this hospital and Dr. Karous. They are some of the best doctors and technicians I have ever seen. Not to mention - the hospital is the cleanest of ANY hospital I've seen.



Dr. Karous is great. She has cared for my animals for a long time and I wouldn't go to anyone else. I travel a ways to see her and it's all worth it. Plus, she makes house calls, so when I can't get in, she comes to me! Who does that anymore??



She and her staff are top notch and if you are looking for quality care without any shortcuts, these are the vets for you. They do a great job and are very caring, smart, and customer service oriented.

Dr. Karous and staff are the most caring people I've ever been around in a veterinary hospital. They are very thorough, friendly, and knowledgeable. I've been coming to see Dr. Karous for a long time and would recommend anyone who has an animal to come to see her as she is the best vet I have ever been to. She cares very much and is very compassionate with my babies. I wouldn't trust them with anyone else.
