First time ever to bring a beloved pet to an emergency facility. The feeling of helplessness is so overwhelming. We cannot begin to express our gratitude for the expertise of the staff,so professional and compassionate. The quality of care that our Siamese "Gianni" received was phenominal. From the first phone call to the joyous moment we were able to take him home, you all were phenominal.

My dog Mila was diagnosed with cancer. EVERYONE here genuinely cares about us and our dog. Dr. Hamilton is beyond amazing with great bedside manner and the vet techs and woman who work at the front desk all so nice! It is expensive but very worth it. Even though what we are going through with our dog is terrible they make the experience much more manageable! Thank you!

I brought my dog in for gallbladder surgery. What I got back was my dog dead and a $9000 bill for a memory. They were so insensitive as not release my dogs dead body unless I gave them my credit card for the additional $4000 for the extra 3 days in post operative care after the surgery by Ross which developed complications. And she was in my opinion not knowledgeable enough to find out what the problem was and how to treat my dog. If they had a rating of 0 that's what I would give this place. Dr.Zahn and Dr.Portner are very competent but the owner and surgeon Dr. Ross who is a graduate of Tuskegee university is anything but capable to do major surgery in my opinion.

Dr. Ross and the staff at Crown are WONDERFUL! They have taken excellent care of my 2 dogs. One of my dogs was a victim of horrific abuse that left him with multiple leg breaks. Dr. Ross repaired his legs, and she regularly follows up to see how he is doing, even 3 years later. Another one of my dogs had a liver shunt, which would have killed him without the expert care of the doctors at Crown. The facility is beautiful, and everyone there genuinely cares about the patients AND the clients!

None Better

It is nearly impossible to say how professional an wonderful the care is at Crown Veterinary Specialists. My cat who survived a coyote attack is in the capable hands of Dr. Wendy Ross and her staff. We have followed her knowledgeable instructions to the letter with remarkable results. Scarlet will remain in her care because there really is "None Better.". :-)

Animal Alliance in Central NJ has referred hundreds of complicated cases to Crown Vet over the years. We have received impeccable service every time from a talented and compassionate team of veterinarians and support staff. Dr. Ross is a brilliant and gifted surgeon and she and her team have performed many veterinary miracles for very sick cats and dogs. Dr. Portner is an extremely bright and practical emergency vet, who always presents multiple options to us in regards to treating a sick animal -- not just the most expensive course of care. Dr. Zahn is so compassionate and caring with her patients and owners alike. We routinely refer adopters there and have never heard a single complaint. The facility is spotless, the staff is caring.

Crown Veterinary Specialists provided expert, compassionate care for our foster kitten who was set on fire in a cruelty case. After multiple complicated surgeries and medical procedures, the team at Crown saved the kitten's life while providing around-the clock love and attention. They continue to care for homeless pets in desperate need and are a tremendous asset to pets and their owners.

The team at Crown was outstanding, loving and compassionate during a very difficult time with my beloved best friend. He ended up passing and it was very difficult for me, but they made a very difficult process much more bearable for myself and my family. Each and every emergency doctor, tech and even receptionist I dealt with were knowledgable and dedicated to let me know what was going on hourly during the night . I am very glad I brought my dog there instead of Red Bank to be treated.

never i repeat never go to this vetespecially if you havea large breed dog.dr ross put down the wrong date for when my pup got injured and the insurance refused to pay the bill. she refused to change what she wrote in her notes . it was over 500.00 for an exray . they could not exray my pup with out sedating him. she came back saying he needed surgery so of course i researched Pen Hip and they suggest to never do surgery of this sort on a large breed dog under 2 years as they are not finshed growing yet. i put a star because i have to to put this review . this place is overpriced and undereducated. to make a mistake of two weeks when i told her two days ago cost me my insurance claim.believe me do not bring your anuimal to this vetrinary hospital. belle mead is much more caring and very reasonable.
