Silver Lake Pediatrics

After my husband and I were thinking we found the perfect pediatrician for our son, we had his records sent there. It took them over a week to get back to us. We were told to set up a "meet and greet" for his first visit. Thinking the first visit was only to meet the new Dr, I went without my husband. I waited 40 min in the waiting room filing out all the paperwork, meanwhile trying to hold a 16 month old. I turned in the paperwork to have the receptionist say rudely to me, I need to READ the paper. When she easily could've simply said, I missed a page. Dr Cheas made inappropriate jokes about my son reproducing well, while examining him with his diaper down. He proceeds to tell me it's "normal" for babies to go 1.5-2 weeks without having bowl movements. When I asked about when to expect my son to start talking more, he rudely said "I will tell you, what he should be doing, you don't tell me". He also asked me to give him scientific reasons of why I have my son on almond milk, I explained it was what we were advised by his dr. Dr cheas rolled his eyes at me. I explained its my first child, and I would like any helpful information / guidance. He did not have to be rude! They ran blood work on him that day as well. I told them my child was sick, they pulled up vaccines for him. I cannot believe they would vaccinate a sick baby. And because I didn't know they pulled up shots for him, Dr cheas and staff told me I would have to pay $200 for the shots, plus exam and blood work fees since I did not let them vaccinate my sick child. I also explained I would never have agreed to do them that day because my husband wasn't home, and my son has bad vaccine reactions. Dr cheas ONLY cared about the money, and did not care about my child. He also said that vomiting, diarrhea, fever, rashes, and non stop screaming for 3 days following shots is fine! Thank you silver lake pediatrics for your complete lack of compassion.

He is so good with Kids they are not afraid of going to the doctor. They are very comfortable there, and he is just the BEST !!!!
