Pediatric Care
Dr. Jordan Scott is a lifelong resident of Massachusetts. He graduated from Boston University Medical School in 2000. After completing a residency in pediatrics at UMASS/Memorial, he trained in allergy/immunology at Boston Children’s Hospital with adult allergy training at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

Family Practice
In July of 2006, just after completing his training, he acquired the allergy practice of Dr. Geraldine Feldman, forming Northeast Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. Dr. Scott takes pride in training future physicians. Dr. Scott is a clinical instructor in community medicine for the UMASS/Memorial family practice program.
Emergency Care
In most cases, treatment aims to relieve symptoms, such as pain, redness, swelling, and itching. If the person has a mild allergic reaction, they can often treat the symptoms themself with antihistamines and try to reduce exposure to the allergen that triggers their symptoms. If a person has a severe allergic sting reaction, they will need epinephrine (Epi-pen) and emergency care.

Internal Medicine
After completing his fellowship, he was a Clinical Instructor in Medicine in the Allergy Department at Dartmouth University Medical Center. He was formerly a Clinical Instructor in Internal Medicine at Tufts University Medical Center at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center where he regularly taught Residents rotating through the Department of Allergy. He has coauthored research presented at national allergy meetings on Aspirin allergy as well as Stinging insect allergy.

Mental Health
Disorders are also linked to vaping. Those who vape are more likely to suffer from suicidal ideation, depression, and anxiety. Additionally, the nicotine in e-cigarettes can affect the brain’s reward system, interfering with normal functioning. This can increase the risk of developing mental health issues and exacerbate pre-existing mental health conditions. When you are feeling stressed, anxious, or depressed, seeking help from a mental health professional rather than turning to vaping is essential.

Eczema
Dr. Riester is a Board-certified allergist and immunologist. He sees patients of all ages, evaluating a wide variety of allergic conditions including: asthma and bronchial asthma, nasal polyps, eczema, food allergies, recurrent sinus infections, allergic rhinitis, penicillin allergy, environmental allergies, animal allergies, chronic cough, eosinophilic esophagitis and bee sting allergies.

Allergies
After a career in academic medicine, Dr. Whitney Dunlap joined Northeast Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology to provide innovative allergy and immunology treatment. She enjoys providing allergy and immunology care to children and adults, and derives great satisfaction in working with her patients to achieve their health goals.
