China Ming Buffet

The only reason I'm even giving one star is simply because I can't give 0 stars. The food is wonderful here, but the service is terrible. And I don't care how good the food is, how you are treated makes all of the difference. I actually went here with my brother on Christmas to celebrate the day, and things started off nicely. But I quickly noticed that we weren't going to get any service, as one waitress and even the 'hostess' behind the front desk simply eyeballed our table several times without actually coming close enough to see if we needed anything. I noticed a table behind me was being serviced, and even two old ladies got refills for their nearly full drinks, but we received nothing but the check when we were finished. And even that was like pulling teeth, as one waitress walked right by me when I tried to get her attention, and I had to be a little more vigorous in getting the attention of the 'hostess.' When I complained about the poor service, I was told that they were busy. There were five tables occupied in my area, and maybe three more throughout the restaurant. And as far as I could tell, everyone had chosen to get food from the buffet. And if not one, but TWO so-called servers are walking by frequently and checking everyone's table (having to walk by our table to do so), then they couldn't have been that busy, right? Needless to say, I won't be going back, neither to sit down and eat, nor take food out. Again, a place may have fantastic food, but if the service sucks, it overshadows even the tastiest grub.
