        This 170+ year congregation is a vibrant and family friendly faith community, rich in history and serving the contemporary needs of families and individuals. Large enough to offer a variety of opportunities to serve and worship, yet small enough that you can be known and feel a real sense of community. (Sunday attendance averages 400) The church is located just off the historic Liberty Square and plays a vital part of the historic district in the Liberty community. This faith community is deeply rooted in the Liberty Community and was the founding faith family for the InAsMuch Ministry, William Jewell College began in the basement of this church. They brought Meals on Wheels to Liberty, and they are an active part of the Liberty Ministerial Alliance.

        Overall

        Wonderful faith community. Young vibrant pastor, Jason Edwards, delivers messages that are unique and relevant to life today. With 171 years of tradition this church is home to a very dynamic, growing congregation with a rich traditionally blended worship style that offers a very contemplative feel. Music lovers will enjoy their worship music, full worship choir often accompanied with an orchestra. Family friendly with Bible study for all ages.
