HORRID PERSON! The woman who runs it is using children for cheap labor, saying that they have to clean stalls in order to ride! She bad mouths everyone and throws chairs at the horses. She lets the horses stand in their stalls full of manure for days on end until someone comes in and she "asks" them to help her. She doesn't know squat about how to ride a horse or training. She PROMISES lots but gives NONE!

I started here when i was 3 and came back after spending $$$ all over lake county. This is the only barn that lets u bond with the horses and learn how to take care of the horses on your own. I am 23 and lease a horse from here who is wonderful. If your looking to become a better horseman or learn anything about horses this is the place to start and stay.

I agree with Katie. My 7yo daughter and I started riding at this stable just over a year ago and I LOVE it! No clicks, no pressure and every lesson is tailored to the individuals riding capabilities. She was a very timid rider and lacked confidence just being around horses , but everyone there has been so supportive and patient with her. Today she not only rides, but grooms, tacks, blankets and feeds a wonderful horse named Austin. She is not only ALLOWED to do this but is ENCOURAGED to do this! (With proper supervision of course.) Most other barns I've been to dont provide any bonding time with the horses.";Get in, get on, get out and pay me before you leave." Really folks? Is this the type of experience you are looking for? Give me a small barn with good people who love to get together just to enjoy the ride! As for the condition of the horses... they are happy, healthy and just a bit spoiled! Like all other animals they have a wide range of personalities but that does NOT mean they are not trained. Not all horses are a good match for the person who can never advance beyond a trot....but please dont blame the horse.

I took lessons there for over a year and never advanced out of a trot. My lessons were mostly given by one of the other students while the owner looked on from a chair. She complained all the time and yelled alot. All of her horses haqd some sort of issue and some werent even trained. Most were unrideable. Only really one good riding horse called Parker.
