Water Heater Blows - Hours Before Fund Raiser

Sunday 7am, my son tells me the basement carpet I all wet, checked and found the water heater had blown out. Remembering King and Sons is a member of our Church, gave them a quick call. Tom said for us to pick up a new water heater from Sears when they open and he would be over. Told Tome my major problem was my daughter was hosting a Jewelry Party at 2pm that afternoon as a Fund Raiser and needed to use the basement! Tom and my husband had it completed and cleaning up & look nice so I didn’t have to worry about it. Tom’s wife Betty even can to the party to help my daughter raise money. I ruined their Sunday family time, but they treated us the best.

I bought a dish washer from Home Depot. They use these guys as their installers for appliances, so that is why I used them. The guy showed up (who was the owner's son) and talked through the whole job. While I don't care if someone makes small talk, it slowed him down considerably. The job ended up taking about twice as long. He was also talking about how he got fired from his last job, which was very unprofessional. After he left, the dish washer was not attached to the counter, so it would swing back and forth from the top. I called King and Sons to come out and fix it, which they did at no extra charge. The next guy came out and did what I thought was a good job, but I guess it was still poor. My dishwasher is still not attached to the counter and now slides out, which the dishes flying everywhere in the machine. I had to call someone else and pay them to fix the problem. Don't use them.

I called King and sons plumbing last night on 10/7/12 because I had water on basment floor I thought it was my main sewer. Their service tech showed up within less than a half hour, took a look at what was going on. It was just my washer drain they save me money by being honest and letting me know it was just that drain and not my main sewer. They also cleaned up the water for me. I wil be using them now for all my plumbing needs and telling all my friends and coworkers.
