THe staff there were amazing, I have use them once before they were amazing then. I only have one regret it's not taking my dog there first instead of Ventnor Vet. IF I would have taken him to Red Bank he would still be alive, instead he is DEAD because of a miss diagnosis, and medical treatment. I will always be GREATFUL to REDBANK 4their kindness and support after the death of my BEST friend in LIFE. THANK U THANKU It really meant a lot to me. YOUR AMAZING ALL OF U?

I've had four experiences now with RBVH and I personally can't say enough good things. Two of my visits were emergencies and two were for ACL surgeries with Dr. D. I've always had a great experience with the staff and doctors. When my one 13 year old dog was suffering major organ failure they were so kind and comforting. She passed surrounded by me and loving staff even though they never met her they all treated her like they've known her for years. My other dog has had 2 ACL surgeries and you would never know because her legs are perfect. A few times they helped me save money so I know they're in it for the animals. I'm sad to hear other ppl didn't have as great of experiences as I have. I highly recommend RBVH.

I brought a sick, feral cat here to surrender as part of the Good Sam program they promote. This program is supposed to allow a person to help a stray sick or injured animal without any financial obligations. However, after I sat there for a significant length of time, I was told they would not take the cat because he was not sick "enough." When I asked what that meant, nobody could answer me. I spoke with the vet, two vet techs, and the secretary and everybody's stories contradicted one another's. I reminded the vet that the temperature was going down to 15 degrees that night. He was very insensitive and kept going on and on about how there are many cats that survive in that temperature. I reminded him that this cat was sick. But that didn't seem to matter to him. How sad and disappointing that nobody in this office wanted to do the right thing for this cat. It looks like unless you're willing to pay their astronomical fee, they're not willing to help out an animal.

DON'T GO HERE!! They could not even get blood from my 6 year old dog, and traumatized him in the process! So unprofessional and disorganized! I walked out, and suggest you never walk in if you love your pet! I never write reviews but am doing so in hopes that I can help innocent people and their pets avoid a terrible experience!

I would never take my animal to this hospital. My family member, who lives on SSD and food stamps, took her cat here in an emergency. They did a non-surgical procedure on the cat. The charge was $2,000. They gave her a 6 month payment plan. However, a day later the same problem in the cat persisted. She took the cat to a better vet hospital that performed surgery and actually alleviated the condition. The charge for the surgery was $1,500, which was reasonable. So, because Red Bank failed to properly address the cat's condition, she had to spend another $1,500 to have another vet treat her. She explained this to Red Bank, hoping for additional time to pay off the 2k (which was a waste of money) or settle on a reduced amount. They would NOT give her additional time to pay of the original $2,000 even considering the $1,500 she had to spend to have the cat treated properly the same week. She finally became so upset and overwhelmed that she paid off the 2,000 PLUS $200 in interest they charged her. 2,200 for work the did not help the cat.

Compassionate

It was time to put our long time pet of 16 years to sleep. In our state of morning Red Bank staff were very kind and compassionate. They did a great job! Thanks!!!

The worst. My beloved chocolate lab, who was 12.5 years of age and underwent surgery to remove a cancerous tumor at UPenn, one evening experienced the bloat. We took her to these terrible people. They wanted $5000 (FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS) to operate on her, WITH NO GUARANTEES,

I could not put her through anymore surgery and these bastards charged me over $500 for an x-Ray and to put her down.

These people are only care about one thing and it's called their wallet!

I will NEVER take my dog to Red Bank Vet Hospital for ANYTHING NO MATTER THE SITUATION.

They then charged me almost another $500 to have her cremated which I was so upset and thought was part of the bill that terrible evening.

AVOID!!!!

Money money money!!

I recently was at red bank vet hospital because my 7 year old Pomeranian was attacked in my yard by another dog and suffered a lot of injuries to her tiny body. Parkway vet did emergency surgery and tended to most of her extensive injuries. We were refereed to RBVH for 24 surveillance to make sure there was no change in her condition. We get there and check in and first thing the receptionist says is" 60 percent of payment is due before you leave her here tonight- so unprofessional long and short they wanted roughly 2200 just for a two day stay of montiering! We call our vet and get her transferred back closer to us once she is stablized. I called everyday took check the status of her condition and told the receptionist the we plan on taking her back closer to us for care. We were advised she wasn't eating when fed etc. long and short we take her home with us at night and tend to her care and parkway during the day for care and guess what she has already ate half a can of dog food thinned out with water and put in a syringe- they were feeding her baby food, for 2200 I would except my dog to be fed cavier or at least what I was feeding my dog!. my point for this review is that we aren't insulting the doctors and nurses knowledge of animal care they are just very unreasonable with prices and when you have no other option for your pet they kinda have you by the throat because they know people will pay because they Love their animals.
