        Great Escape is an outreach ministry of Littleton United Methodist Church dedicated to providing parents a program meeting the needs of children in a positive, loving, Christian atmosphere. Our program is designed to meet their needs at each stage of development. Each day is full of planned activities, which contribute to the individual child's socialization and enjoyment. Each child is provided developmentally appropriate activities, which encourage growth socially, physically, emotionally, intellectually and spiritually.

        The Great Escape parent's day out program is offered for children ages 12 month (and walking) through under three years. Parent's may sign their child up for this program for as little as one day a week, up to four days per week. The Great Escape preschool program is available for children ages three through six years. The preschool program is available either two or four days per week. The two day per week option is offered with a choice of either Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday.Great Escape also offers an enrichment class for preschool attendees in addition to the two or four day program. This class is held on the first and third Friday of every month.

        This is a fantastic program! Our two children absolutely love Great Escape and so do we as parents! The decision to have someone else watch over your children is not an easy one, however, Great Escape is a truly wonderful choice. When we initially chose the program it was because we have 2 children, at the time we enrolled, our youngest wasn't quite 2 and our oldest was 4. Most programs require the child to be 2.5 and potty trained, Great Escape offers a Parents Day Out program and the youngest can start at 1. The reason that we stayed is because the staff genuinely cares for each child and makes them feel special. They offer small class sizes, and enriching learning opportunities for the children. They also offer music class which is unusual in such a small program. The only down side is that the program does not run year round, only an academic calendar.

        I love Great Escape. I did a lot of research of trying to find an affordable place to take my child. After a lot of searching, I found the Parents Day Out Program and the Great Escape Preschool. All of the staff is so caring and really great people. There is so much pride at this little school and each child shows it. There really is no better place than Great Escape in the heart of Downtown Littleton. If you are looking for a great place to take your child - Great Escape is the place to pick.
