Rossmoor Manor Garden Apartments

This place is run by slumlords.  I moved in here in August 2016 and am paying almost $1800 for a one bedroom.  When I moved in 6 months ago I was told that all of the construction should be completed absolutely no later than September, three months after my move in so I thought that was no big deal.  Boy was I wrong!  The apartments are nice in the inside but that's where it ends.  I know that the building is old, I had relatives that lived here for decades when it was Rossmoor Manor and it was run a million times better than these nitwits.  Pan American Properties threw some brightly colored paint on a few panels outside and called it a day.  The website promises amazing amenities like a dog wash, a lounge with wifi, "modern, elegant two story lobby" yeah take a look at the pictures I posted and tell me if that looks like their description, resort style pool (yeah, maybe if the "resort" is Motel 6), and many more wonderfully sounding things that will never appear while I'm there, I'm sure of it.  What the hell am I paying so much for when more than half of the "luxury amenities" don't exist!?  

The walls are not even paper thin, more like tissue paper thin.  I can hear my neighbor on his cell phone thru the wall.  When the person across from me opens their front door it literally sounds like they are opening mine.  The halls are dingy with stained carpet, dreadfully dim lighting and it reeks of whatever food people are cooking.  The management sucks, especially ERIKA DIAZ who will promise you the moon and stars with a smile before you sign your lease.  Once the lease is signed her horns pop out of her head and she shows her true colors.  I am counting down the days until my lease is up so I can peace out and get away from this hovel.  

Please enjoy the photos I have attached that I took on 12/17/2016.  Three months after the quoted completion time and the place is a mess.  Rumor has it that the workers they hired were working without permits and all construction has been halted indefinitely.  It is so unsafe to be walking around this construction zone, I hope that someone gets hurt and sues the crap out of Pan American Properties.  It is so embarrassing to invite friends over to my "luxury apartment" and they walk into a war zone.  Aleppo looks better than this dump.  

Rossmoor is a beautiful area, it's so sad that Ascent is such a blemish to the community.
