I can't speak for other parents but I can say that my experience with Adolescent Growth was amazing. They not only helped my son recover from his xanax addiction, they helped our entire family heal from the pain his addiction had caused us. My son is a different person since leaving Adolescent Growth. His therapist was wonderful and she did a great job of communicating with us. All of the family therapy and family groups were helpful as well.

Everybody here has been not just kind but truly professional in everything they did. The kind of people you can trust your kids with.

Our family had a terrible experience with Adolescent Growth. They are extremely dishonest with parents. They refused to tell parents the costs if their treatment. They purport to take a holistic ( mental, physical and spiritual) approach in working with teens. Their services are not holistic. They make false claims to parents and teens. We wished we had read the employee reviews on glassdoor.com and ripoffreport.com which overwhelmingly stated that adolescent growth in pasadena, adolescent growth in Sherman Oaks are terrible. I am really sensitive with my child so just didn't want to put him anywhere I could find.

With lots of research on line here&ther could find best soothing place I could find to match our family high expection. Thank god I never regrat what I chose between all our options.

The professional stuff& managment made me think this was the best decision I ever made in my life to pick them. Their friendly &family oriented staff made son wants stay longer than he supposed to. Just imagine what kind of great atmosphere he got there to make him wants voluntary stay longer.

I highly recommend them to all parents who really care& sensitive about their child future.

I took my teenage daughter and they were kind, knowledgeable and gave me hope. The staff was always polite and the parenting groups helped me tremendously. I would recommend this place to anyone with a child with an eating disorder. Very Good!

Adolescent Growth was excellent. I have never seen staff work as hard as the staff did at this facility. They worked with me when my child was hurting. I was confused and did not know what to do, but they were kind to me and helped me make a good decision. Moreover, the accounting department worked with my insurance and continued to keep me informed of what was going on. My child was given a great therapist and my child has since discharged and is doing great. I am very pleased that I choose Adolescent Growth. My expectations were exceeded and I highly recommend them to any family.

This place advertises that they are a Residential Treatment Center. They are NOT! According to the State of California, they are a licensed GROUP HOME. Do not send your children here. They have a high staff turnover rate, they are unorganzied, and they are not honest with their billing. Be careful.
