Downtown Business High School, located in Los Angeles, is part of Los Angeles Unified School District. It enrolls more than 1,100 students in grades nine through 12. Courses offered are based upon state and local graduation requirements and includes core curricular areas, such as English, social science, mathematics and science. In addition to academic core subjects, students have the opportunity to take courses in Spanish, visual arts, drama, band, physical education and business education. Advanced placement courses are available for students who wish to earn college credit while in high school. Career objectives are included in all content areas throughout the curriculum. Downtown Business High School offers numerous extracurricular activities, including sports, such as basketball, volleyball, softball, football and track.
