        Experienced board-certified cardiologist Payam R. Yashar, MD has proudly served patients from all over Southern California for over fifteen years, and is now extending his counsel as far as Europe and Asia.Dr. Yashar is based at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in the Beverly Grove neighborhood of Los Angeles, California, the very hospital where he was born. He and his team offer specialized and highly responsive concierge-style care that you can receive in-office or in the comfort of your own home, as the practice offers house calls and telehealth services. As one of the most called-upon cardiologists at Cedars-Sinai, Dr. Yashar brings a wealth of experience to his patients when it comes to diagnosing, managing and treating a myriad of heart conditions. In addition to providing expert treatment, Dr. Yashar is especially adroit in addressing preventative care.Upon earning his medical degree from the prestigious Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York in 1997, Dr. Yashar completed his internship and residency at Cedars-Sinai. He then trained in fellowship in Cardiovascular Diseases at the University of Southern California. Thereafter, he pursued further specialized training in Cardiac Electrophysiology at the University of California, Los Angeles and the West Los Angeles Veterans' Medical Center.Dr. Yashar is passionate about providing expert-level care to his patients. He offers diagnoses and treatment for conditions like chest pain, atrial fibrillation, heart failure and arrhythmia using the latest technology available. He also performs heart catheterization, pacemaker and defibrillator implantation, as well as ablations for cardiac arrhythmia. All of his invasive procedures are performed at Cedars-Sinai, and diagnostic testing is undertaken either in office or with the utilization of remote testing whenever possible.Today, Dr. Yashar is affiliated with the Cedars-Sinai Smidt Heart Institute, and the Preventive and Consultative Heart Center. He is a volunteer clinical instructor at the University of California, Los Angeles School of Medicine. In addition, he has the distinct honor of being voted one of Los Angeles Magazine's Top 100 Cardiologists.         Very thankful

        Dr. Yashar is an old-school doctor. His office is responsive. He is very caring. He gives all options from the most conservative to state-of-the-art and will help guide you to make the decision that is best for you. Beyond that, I have seen him go above and beyond for both myself and other patient's to navigate the hospital and medical system. I'm very grateful to have him as my doctor.

        Phenomenal

        Dr. Yashar was phenomenal when I was in the hospital. He saw me every day and rearranged my treatment plan. I was on 16 medications before I met him. I now am on only 5. And I never felt better, all thanks to him. No other doctor was able to do that until I met him. He has such a calming approach to everything. I recommend him highly.

        Dr. Yashar goes above and beyond every single time. He works in the hospital every day and knows everybody at Cedars-Sinai, so when I was in trouble with my heart he was able to make things happen. You can tell he cares. His office staff does too. I'm so comfortable knowing he's my doctor. He's not in my insurance network but he's worth every penny. He's the best.

        This doctor saved my life. I was stuck in another hospital were I was essentially slowly dying in the ICU. My family found Dr. Yashar and asked him to help. When no one else could deliver, he got me transferred to Cedars Sinai where under his stewardship, things turned around. I am so grateful. I just want people to know.
