The Salvation Army offers various educational, recreational and spiritual programs. Its sports program includes various activities, such as flag football, water polo, indoor soccer, volleyball, softball, basketball, badminton, dodge ball, racquetball and indoor hockey. The organization operates a learning center that features a collection of books and nearly eight computers with Internet access. The Salvation Army has a computer laboratory that offers instruction in formatting, printing and creating Web pages. It also offers aerobics, karate and swimming classes, as well as arts and crafts programs. In addition, the organization offers a program that includes various structured and developmental activities for students who are off-track for year-round schools.
