GLA Collection Company

I sent GLA copies of two separate bills, all the information you need to show the bills were paid. This hurting my credit needlessly. GLA earns that 1.7 out of 5 rating

I received medical assistance to cover my hospitalization because I did not have the income to pay, nor did I have any insurance (on disability during the 24-month period prior to Medicare eligibility). The medical assistance was supposed to have paid in full and the accounting department AT THE HOSPITAL told me I shouldn't have any problems. Well, I began receiving calls from GLA Collections in no time. I explained to them about medical assistance and gave them my "account number". They have continued to call me at random times, on random days including Sundays. I have since blocked their calls but still get their recorded "This is GLA..." on my voicemail. I keep seeing an ad from an attorney on television regarding collection calls and I believe I may try that route. (p.s. They have not sent anything to the credit bureaus on me - surprises me but I'll count my blessings!)

Used an electronic signature from what was called a sign-in (forced by police at a hospital and not a criminal matter) as proof of a debt. I was told repeatedly by a hospital staff member that I would not be charged any money. The electronic signature from the sign-in was copied and pasted onto a financial document that I never agreed to. I had to pay GLA or have a non-payment effect my credit score negatively, which means I might not be able to do things such as rent an apartment or make payments on a vehicle. This is fraudulent. GLA ruined my credit score despite the fact that I paid a debt to them that I did not owe.

I paid my debt in full and Valerie has not sent my paid in full letter yet it's been a month and a half and I called and ask what happened she said you need to talk with your mailman how rude and unprofessional can one be I'm still waiting on my letter VALERIE IN PAYMENTS!
