Steiner Electric Company

I was taking my daughter to Rockford for a college visit and I was gonna leave my car at the business to charge while we toured the school. Its a public charger (charge point) so I thought everything was on the up and up. I couldn't get the charger to work so I walked into the place to ask for assistance. I forgot to put on my mask it was in my pocket. I was unware that an employee who was outside was watching me. Black man in a Tesla idk. At any rate I was in the store asking the young employees if they could help. The kids were friendly and polite. In comes the guy from outside he doesn't say "sir mask please." He simply tells me "GET OUT GET OUT NOW." I had no idea why this man was so aggressive with me nor did he explain. I was preoccupied with the charging and the Coach from the college was picking my daughter and I up from business. I simply forgot to take my mask out of my pocket. After the man was yelling he finally said "YOU DONT HAVE YOUR MASK ON!" I looked down and my mask was sticking out of my pocket simple mistake. I immediately put it on and told him all you had to do was ask me in a respectful way why would you come in here yelling Im a grown ass man don't ever talk to me like that again. Now if we would apologized I would've left alone but I think it was more to it than the mask. He was being a "Ken" and I personally felt it had racial undertones. Side note when I charge at business I always patron the business and leave a good review for them letting me charge there. This weighed heavy on my mind and kind of had me in a bad mood during what should've been a happy occasion for my daughter and I!
