Our parents are so happy here. The food is great, the staff is wonderful and the residents are so nice. There is so much to do.....great entertainment and fun day trips. We give Winnwood a big thumbs up!

I am taking the time to write this post because I feel an obligation to humanity to do so. My daughter is a caregiver here. She loves her job. I'm not sure of her exact title but she works here part time while pursuing a bachelor of science in nursing. She calls me every night on her way home. Needless to say her stories are quite entertaining! From an outsider looking into an insider’s point of view, Windwood Retirement Homes is a warm save and loving place to be.

This is a very nice place to live. The apartments are nice and there is always something fun to do. I think the food is good and there are always lots of choices. My whole family comes to their low country boil every year.

The Independent Living buildings are very nice and Winnwood is in a nice location. Since moving in however there has been quite a lot of staff turnover resulting in very poor food service and a lack of follow up on resident concerns.



The (already high) rents for Independent Living are going up while the service and food quality is going down. The owners of this facility need to take an active role in addressing the residents concerns quickly or Winnwood's reputation will suffer.
