Pet Grooming By Jeannie Hawkins

These guys are awesome & wonderful with my dog! I took my chihuahua to another grooming place just around the corner from them, and they were absolutely horrible with my dog & their customer service was for the birds!! After that experience I didn't take my dog to the groomers for quite sometime. Then a friend recommended this place to me. I was reluctant to go at first because of my previous experience.

I went in by myself to meet them & get to know them, and they were so nice and down to earth! I found myself in there talking to them for 20min. I made an appointment to bring my dog in. They did such a great job with her!!! And my dog was really good for them and she was calm & happy-nothing like how she was at the previous groomers!! I give them 5 stars! I'm actually taking my dog in this morning. Oh, and did I mention their prices were really good?

I really liked this place! The owner was closing and stayed just to take my dog on a dimes notice. I appreciated that so much. She did a great hi . My dog was so soft and so happy! Big thanks. Way better attitude then some of the other local groomers close by.

I have never had a problem here, she is my groomer, and my dogs love her, I won't go anywhere else.

I brought my dog into Jeannie's for a shampoo and cut (full groom), she ended up giving her a short puppy cut, it took five hours. When I got home I noticed she wouldn't sit still and she walking funny, upon closer examination I noticed she had been cut in three different places with the clippers. The one on her front leg (by her chest) was deeper than the rest, and she tried to stop the bleeding with some liquid band aide. She had clipped below where she was having difficulty urinating and walking. The third was on her tail. I called Jeannie and she had an excuse for everything the first cut with the liquid band aide she explained to that she noticed sticky stuff on her hair while she was cutting her hair (my dog is house dog and was clean upon arrival) if she had washed my dog prior to cutting her hair why wasn't the sticky removed (not real credible), this was her rationale, couldn't explain the deep cut. I asked about the second cut and she said she noticed my dog was swollen underneath and she used scissors and there is no way she could have nicked her. My dog is two years old in perfect health prior to bringing her to Jeannie's shop. I have brought my dog to the groomer at least every other month, she was nicked once before over at the Groomery (small nick) and the groomer told me right away when I picked her up (very professional - mistakes happen - took ownership) . Jeannie is a poor excuse for a groomer, as well as a business owner, she never took responsibility for nicking my dog three times (nothing but excuses from Jeannie), it is now a week and the nicks are finally starting to heal. I would say her pricing for grooming are very competitive, but how much savings is worth your dog being injured. And I almost forgot my dog had fleas when I got home, which she didn't have prior to dropping her off at Pet Grooming by Jeannie Hawkins.
