You would be still hot after spending $3600 bucks. Here is the story of my three year battle in short.
Air Handler has 5 years warranty on parts Payne 10 years compressor,5 years on all parts One year labor Enclosed please find copies of: 1. Service Order invoice with written description of work and warranty information 2. HVAC Service Order Invoice dated 04-27-09 with Technicians notes. This letter shall serve as a notice of dispute regarding the failure of AAA Air Heating and Air Conditioning ("AAA") to properly and effectively remedy faulty component parts and improper services rendered in relation to the above referenced A/C system which you installed on 05-28-08 ("A/C system"). AAA was first put on notice of the issues related to the A/C system on or before 04-27-09, as evidenced by the enclosed HVAC Service Order Invoice ("Invoice"). The invoice is dated 04-27-09, well within the 1 year warranty period included with the A/C System that AAA issued with my purchase of the A/C System. Notice that in the Service Order Invoice space labeled : "Description of work performed" the AAA technician writes "Found New Unit low on Freon. Found leak at expansion valve where sensor line bolts into suction line. Tightened and refilled system w/R-22 Freon (2 lbs)" Based on this information, it is clear that my current and ongoing A/C system issues existed during the warranty period, were brought to AAA's attention, and not remedied. Since this time, I have called several times expressing my concern that the tightening of those bolts will not remedy the problem long term and the leak of Freon will continue. However, AAA has chosen to provide no response to my phone calls regarding the replacement of the faulty parts contained in the A/C System. Due to AAA's continued and lengthy delay in remedying the exact issue raised during the A/C System warranty period, by the time a AAA technician did attempt to address the ongoing A/C System issues,, the technician informed me the warranty period on the A/C System had expired. As a result, the AAA technician refilled the A/C System with Freon and informed me that the labor for replacement will cost approximately $850.00. As stated, the A/C System contains faulty parts which should have been replaced at the time I initially called for service, which placed AAA on notice of this issue will within the warranty period. In my attempt to resolve the A/C System issues with AAA, I have made numerous phone calls to AAA and spoke to Jason Sigmon. Additionally I have saved messages received on my voice mail from the various AAA employees. However, despite my efforts to resolve this issue, my several recent attempts to reach AAA via phone have failed. As a result, I have been forced to write this letter, again placing AAA on notice of the ongoing and unresolved issue with the A/C System. As indicated on the Service order Invoice, I paid $3.780.00 on the A/C System, a price paid by me with the understanding that AAA would honor its warranty issued with the purchase of the A/C System. Instead, AAA has decided to engage in deceptive acts, effectively breaching the A/C system warranty. The invoice dated 04/27/09 is well with in the 1 year labor warranty period included with the A/C system purchase. My 12 year old A/C system downstairs cools better than the one your company installed brand new.

Based on the good reviews, I called AAA when my AC quit blowing cold air. They told me my compressor was bad, my coils would need to be replaced and the cost would be $2800 or I could get a new AC unit for $3200 which they recommended.
The AC unit was only 5 years old so I decided to pay another $60 for another opinion and another service call. I'm glad I did. I called Extreme Comfort in Plano. They said there was nothing wrong with the compressor or coils, there was a burned out switch. They replaced the switch and added some sort of regulator to control how much power was hitting the switch. Total cost was $400, to which they applied my $60 service charge. My unit is working flawlessly.

I called AAA Air Service and they came out fast. The service tech was great. I felt comfortable with the service tech and understood everything he told me. If you are looking for the best Air Service around call AAA Air Service.

The onwer Jason came out which, first is very rare with a well established company. Great guy!. He trouble shot my system and recommend a long-term solution, which is very resonable and I honstly feel he had my best interest in mind... I was asked by a friend if I wanted to get a second opnion.. absoulutly will not.. Jason and AAA is my choice....

AAA did our Spring service and was professional and respectful. We actually had a leak and they gave us an A/C 101 on the system, what could be done and what should be done. It was never a sales pitch, it was very educational. We have a home warranty and had to use another company for the repair, but the information and education was invaluable.
Fantastic company w/ reputable people! We will continue to use them for our seasonal servicing.
