VCA Gettysburg Road Animal Hospital

I arrived to this place by mistake and I'm sorry I did. I was on a road trip and stupidly forgot my heartworm medicine. My dog just had an annual exam and a heartworm test less than a month ago and I had my records with me. I called the Gettysburg animal hospital and explain what was going on and they indicated that they would be able to give me one month heartworm medicine if I had my vet records with me. My navigation took me to Gettysburg ROAD animal hospital. When I explain what happened LeeAnn was rude and uncaring and made an excuse that since they are not a licensed pharmacy they can't give me one heartworm pill unless their vet examined my dog. This is ridiculous since my dog was just examined by a licensed vet less than a month ago and I had my records with me. Their actions proved they had no concern for the well-being of animals. They didn't even greet my dog. I would recommending taking your pet for someone who cares about the animal more than making money.
