Regency Hospital - Cleveland West

I recently was there for a stayed of six weeks at regency. All of the nurses an doctors where very helpful in my healing an rehab. I recommend this facility for great care an helpfulness during my stay.

It is the worst hospital I have ever been a witness to. They should be shut down immediately. Do NOT ever allow anyone you care about to be transferred to this horrible place. My husband was there for rehab for mobility to come home. They allowed him to lay in his bed with a bottle to pee in between his legs and never did any real physical therapy with him. I gave them all the legal papers so they would never put him on life support. That horrible staff put him on life support and then notified me after! As I fought to get him off life support, they had someone come in to change his bandages so someone could practice on him, then a person came in for a respiratory treatment while he was already on a respirator and then after he was dead they actually brought him a tray of food!

The Dr. in ICU there then told me he also had a large mass in his lungs which appeared to be cancer. No one even told me that ever! The case worker Carrie Payne should be fired as she told me not even 36 hours before he died that she could not keep him there on a medical basis as he no longer needed medical care but just physical therapy! Take your loved ones home or find another place as this is NOT a rehab center, but a torture chamber.
