Barb's General Store is deserving of 5 stars because of the friendliness of Barb & her staff. Whenever we stop in while back home vacationing, visiting family & friends (Barb has been a friend of mine for over 40 years.), we're able to find whatever we're searching for. If not, you can bet Barb or one of the other staff members will direct you to the nearest place to find it. The store is very clean, including the bathroom, which is very important to me. Maybe the 3-star rating is because there are no store hours listed on the info sheet. If you're camping, visiting, fishing, or just passing through Mikana on the way to one of Barron County's other beautiful little vacation towns, stop in just to say 'hi' to Barb & the others. And tell them Linda & Gary sent you. You won't be sorry. And you may just find what you're looking for!
