Pike County Generator Inc

I hired Pike County Generator to install a Generac generator for me. They showed up on time and did an impeccable installation. The owner who supervised the job is very knowledgeable. He told me he installed two switches on my propane valve. As a novice and a person who never worked with my hands, I thought this must be very good. The next day, I had no hot water in my home. I called my fuel delivery company to check why I had no hot water. They came and inspected my heating system and told me I had no propane entering it. My fuel company told me to turn on the fuel valve and let the fuel into my system. I called Pike County Generator to complain, and the owner, Steve, called me back and said He would not accept any responsibility since he told me it is a two-switch system; evidently, he did not check the work of his people and assumed I should have checked that both valves were turned on. Thus, I remain optimistic about the Company but do not allow them to leave until the on-site owner or supervisor checks everything before you pay him.

Consumers beware of Pike County Generator Inc!!!

I contacted Pike County Generator Inc located in Milford, Pa to repair my generator. They showed up on time and were able to get the generator running very quickly. However, the repair man told me he did not know what the problem was and I was charged a total of $165.00. Several months later I contacted Pike County Generator Inc. to let them know my generator is still not working. Once again they came out and got it running within about 30 minutes and charged me another fee of $169.00. The repair man stated to me that he still does not know what the problem is. I explained that I wanted it repaired and that they were just out several months ago. Once again, they still charged me $169.00 with no warranties or assurance on their repair work, period. I would say they are taking an advantage of a bad situation by their UNreliable repairs…As a consumer I would never recommend them because they do NOT stand behind their work and seem to only want to collect their service fees.
