- Owner/Doctor: C. David Summerlin, DVM Dr. Summerlin started Ark Animal Hospital as an individual practitioner in December 1992. The practice was originally located on Hwy 90. Over the years, Ark has grown to include six doctors and as of 2007, a new location on Berryhill Road. Even though the practice has grown, his philosophy of a "Small Animal Hospital with a Big Heart" has prevailed. Ark Animal Hospital offers the Pace animal community emergency veterinary services in addition to wellness, standard medical, surgical, and dental veterinary care. Because we have an in-house pharmacy, lab, radiology facilities, Intensive Care Unit, and boarding for canines and felines, our facility enables you to make one stop for your pet's medical care. We are open for appointments Monday - Friday from 7:30AM - 6:00PM , and Saturdays from 8:00AM- 1:00 PM. We are always available in an emergency during business hours, just call or come in. I have used the Ark Animal Hospital for a very long time. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The care given to my animals has always been good. Over the years I have had to have my elderly cat and then my dog put to sleep. The treatment on the occasions was very compassionate and considerate. My pets were boxed in special boxes so a could take them home with me. I currently have another cat which I take to this veterinary clinic.
This is a very good place to take your cat or dog. I love taking my dogs there. The staff is always friendly and helpful.
