Located in Golden Valley, Minn., Good Shepherd School is a Catholic institution that serves children in kindergarten through sixth grade. It is comprised of more than 300 students, over 30 full time teachers and support staff members. The school focuses on moral, intellectual, emotional, social and physical growth of children. Good Shepherd School conducts classes in a range of subjects that include religion, reading, math, social studies, science, world languages, music and physical education. It operates a library media center that offers a collection of books on various topics and provides a range of databases, encyclopedias, magazines, newspapers, online resources and reference materials to students. The school administers various sports and extra curricular activities, such as football, volleyball, golf, basketball, softball, baseball and cross-country.
