General Info

Based in Minneapolis, Minn., VA Neighborhood Child Care Center provides child care services. The center provides a range of developmentally appropriate activities, both teacher-directed and child-directed, including sensory and fine motor skills, dramatic play and open ended creative projects. Besides this, the center offers a weekly creative music and movement class. It works with a Public Health Consultant from the Metropolitan Visiting Nurses Association. It also participates in the Child and Adult Care Food Programs. The center is accredited by the National Academy of Early Childhood Programs. VA Neighborhood Child Care Center additionally encourages parental involvement through annual picnics, open houses and an Advisory Parent Board.
