Cant rebuild a transmission 4/4 truck to hold a stock diesel truck only hold about a year and it blow reverse band and took it back to check out wut was rong with it and spent 2400 on the ferst rebeld and last I wood not let him biled a nother one enles u just wont to drive it home and park it then it will last u cant tack the truck out in the mud or plow snow cuz the reverse band he puts in is not strong anuf to us in mud or pull my 30 foot camper it will blow reverse out and tryed to charge me 950 more to fix it after I told him I was not spending more then 500 and I head to call and check on it he never called me and just took it upon him self to just do it

I thought I had a transmission issue and was referred to this shop...Ken talk with me and had my car towed to shop, he was very pleasant and friendly to talk with..upon inspection of my vehicle he did not find anything wrong with my transmission...I do have an issue with my vehicle but this gentleman was nice and honest enough to inform me that it wasn't my transmission...I was happy to find out it wasn't that and I was pleased to know that there is still honest people out there, he didn't even charge me for his time...I just wonder how many other shops would have taken advantage of this situation and gave me another transmission anyways...I appreciate you Ken and you deserve the highest praise and thank you so much...So those of you who have transmission issues this shop is the one!!!!!

I was stuck in a unique position. While on a road trip from Chicago where I live, my transmission suddenly gave out in the middle of Ohio. Having read a number of great reviews, I decided to bring my car to Monroeville transmission and clutch. This was I vulnerable situation I was in having left my car to get repaired in a place far from home and with a shop that I knew very little about. However, Kenny did not take advantage of my desperate situation, instead he did the complete opposite. He, on several occasions, went above and beyond what many shops would do in order to help me out. This includes, driving a 60 mile round trip to pick me up from the closest rental car shop and back to my car when it was time to pick up my fixed car. In addition, Kenny repaired a damaged serpentine belt, for no cost and without mentioning it to me until after the fact, just because he wanted to ensure my return trip to Chicago took place without any more troubles. Its been a month now since my transmission has been replaced, and the transmission feels as if the car is brand new.



Kenny and Monroeville transmission has a great reputation in the Ohio area, and they deserve every bit of it. Their mechanical expertise combined with their great customer service makes me extremely grateful that I broke down where i did. I would highly recommend this place if it is an option, you can rest easy that you will get a job well done by professionals who care.

On vacation and my car was freaking out, post oil change debacle. These guys helped me get from the middle of nowhere to the shop, hooked up my car to the computer, reset the service codes - for free! I tried to compensate them, but they wouldn't hear I it. Plus - they gave me directions to my destination.



I wish they had another branch in Detroit. Is take my car to them exclusively.



Truly nice guys - generous and empathetic. Isn't that what you want from your mechanic?

I was having trouble shifting a manual transmission truck. I had stopped at another area transmission shop but was not satisfied with the inspection and diagnosis that was performed. I called Monroeville Transmission and the owner personally inspected the truck. It turns out there was a single bolt missing. The other shop was ready to charge me $1000 to fix a transmission that didnt need to be fixed. Monroeville Transmission installed the bolt and sent me on my way. I had to insist on paying...they were not going to charge me.

WQW!!! I can't say enough about this business. He took my car on Tuesday helped me get a rental vehicle. I was informed of every step taken to rebuild my transmission and by Thursday at 2pm my car was finished. I felt this business doesn't give anyone but the truth. Sometimes it is hard for me to have wor k done to my car because my dad made a living for his family by being an owner/mechanic.Kenny is a straight up guy and please take your car to Monroeville Transmission and Clutch whenever your is not performing right. A million stars is my vote!!!!!

I highly recommend this business to everyone with not 5 stars but 10. I was out of town from Michigan racing at Summit Motorsports Park for the Halloween Classic when I left the raceway my motor home wouldn't shift into od. I contacted Kenny and from there out he handled the job like it was his own vehicle never had a problem with anything and being from out of town you don't have to worry about being the OUT of Towner just great people treated myself and my family like family. Just a good down home feeling thanks and God Bless your business and family.

If you ever have transmission problems, go to Kenny at Monroeville Transmission and Clutch he provides top notch service at a reasonable price. He is honest and friendly. He also is very quick. I called him Saturday morning he picked up my SUV all the way in Sandusky that same day. I talked to him Monday and he told me that it was an internal problem and needed taken apart to see exactly what was wrong. The whole transmission was basically torn up and he said Friday, but called on Thursday. He stayed after hours to let us pick it up after work. Definitely worth the extra time and gas to deal with. I won't go anywhere else if I need transmission work in the future.

We had problems with our transmission for a while. Sending it in and out of shops with no results we were thinking it was going to be expensive. After taking it here he found the that problem was an easy fix saving us a ton of money. Our car now runs better than it ever has thanks to the most experienced and inexpensive service around. I will always recommend Monroeville transmission to any one i meet.
