        Best Motel in Wisconsin - Go check it out!

        Absolutely the best place to stay in Montello, WI. This motel is very clean, great service staff and price very reasonable.

        First time I stayed at Hilltop Motel in Montello, WI near Wisconsin Dells (only 30 min driving distance from Wisconsin Dells). What a amazing place to stay, the place very clean, great service, for very reasonable price! I would go again to this place for my next Wisconsin trip.

        Hilltop Motel in Montello, WI great place to visit, very quite and clean motel but very convenient and close to all major attraction to Wisconsin Dells and so reasonable price.

        I took my family to Wisconsin dells. On the way I stopped by at near village Montello, WI which is within driving distance from Dells. I stayed at Hilltop Motel. What a pleasant surprise. Great place to stay. Owner is very helpful. and motel is very nice, clean and budget friendly. i would go back.

        Bad Experience with this place

        I didn't even get past the phone call to reserve a room! I called for a reservation. The woman who answered was quite rude. I was asked several personal questions. Then I was asked what time I would be checking in. I explained I didn't know yet. She told me she HAD to know in order to make the reservation. I told her then do not make the reservation and when I have that information I will call back. She hung up on me! I called back again because I was afraid since she had my credit card information I would be charged for the room. I called back and politely mentioned I had been cut off. She said, no I hung up because you said to cancel the reservation and she hung up on me a second time. Unbelievable! I have never had such poor treatment from a business. I'm sure she figured she doesn't need my business because she did mention she is full every weekend...but wow.....good luck to anyone who decides to stay here!

        Fair accomidations but owner accused us of damage from another party's stay. Travlers beware!!
