Patriot Electrical Technicians

We live in Montgomery County, MD, in a 10 year old house. During these last 10 years, Josh at Patriot Electrical has visited us 8-9 times to fix or install electrical devices, both inside and outside our home. He usually comes within 2 days of calling, and sooner if needed - he just works us into his schedule. Always pleasant, and never feel we were overcharged. He was here last week, and fixed the error of a previous electrician in a light switch. Now we never call anyone but Josh. Can't recommend him highly enough!

I live in a condo that had no overhead lighting in the living room or bedrooms. Lamp lighting started to hurt my eyes, so I asked two friends (at different times) and both recommended Patriot/Josh (what are the chances of that???). Now I know why. Initial call to Josh was answered right away, he was able to come out the next evening after my work hours (which I had to change and he made that work too), talked to us about lighting options, answered our questions, gave us a written estimate and explained each line item to me so that I would understand it. He even told us that the amount of lighting that we were asking about could be overwhelming (and explained why) so he was already saving us money and helping us make informed decisions. He also took the time to explain how to select a ceiling fan. Who knew??? He got right onto Amazon.com with us and showed us examples of what he would recommend. We knew before he walked out the door that he was the one! We called back the next day and scheduled an appointment for the following week. Today was the day and I am OVER THE MOON THRILLED with what he has done. Recessed lighting in the living room with a dimmer. Ceiling fan and lighting in the bedroom. We followed each of his recommendations and were so, so glad that we did. Josh is polite, is able to explain things to me (that knows nothing about electrical) without making me feel dumb, always on time, very clean work - he made sure that everything was covered (furniture, floors, etc.) and cleaned and re-organized when he was done. Please don't hesitate, call Josh today. From here on out, he will be my go-to guy! He did a ROCK STAR kind of job!

When we remodeled several years ago, Josh at Patriot Electrical did all my wiring. So last week when my furnace burned out the circuit breaker, I called him in a panic. He was at my house in under an hour and fixed it. When the HVAC guys came to check out their system a few days later and fried the new circuit breaker, Josh to my rescue - and he inspected their work and found AND FIXED their blunders! I love this guy! Knowledgible, personable, fast and friendly. Whenever I hear anybody tell their woes about anything electrical, I always say: "I got a guy!"
