She also worked in several other specialties, including Vascular Surgery, before returning to Family Medicine. Prior to becoming a Physician Assistant, Amy worked as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist in Cardiac Rehab and Cardiac Stress Testing for nearly a decade, having acquired a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology from CMU. Furthermore, she obtained a Master’s in Exercise Science from the same institution while serving as a Graduate Assistant and instructing undergraduate courses. Amy derives satisfaction from educating patients and possesses a passion for advocating health and wellness through lifestyle choices. During her leisure time, Amy enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, kayaking, and cross country skiing with her husband and daughter!
