The Bear Creek Golf Club is located in an area east of the Santa Rosa Plateau in California's Temecula Valley. Temecula Valley, known for its many wineries, has an ideal climate for golf and an active lifestyle. The course is located 18 miles from the Pacific Ocean. Afternoon sea breezes cool the desert heat down in the summer, while winter temperatures remain warm enough for year-round golf. Bear Creek Golf Club is a private, member-owned, equity membership club and part of the Bear Creek gated community that was planned and developed by Jack Nicklaus in 1983. Homes range from condominiums to large custom homes. The Bear Creek Golf Club is located in Murrieta, Calif.
