LEAVEY ESTATE SALES & APPRAISALS, LEAVEY ANTIQUES, ESTATE SALES BY GLORIA LEAVEY, TJ LEAVEY….etc. ALL various names of the same company. THIS IS THE SAME COMPANY AS SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA ESTATE SALES & APPRAISALS and services are provided for both companies by CATHIE PITTS.

Leavey Estate Sales and Southern California Estate Sales are one in the same.

These two estate sales companies are a RIP OFF!! We were blatantly mislead & lied to by a woman representative for the company named CATHIE PITTS. She claimed to have been in the business for 35 years. This is false and misleading. The company posted it's FBN with OC in 2013 and is owned by a 2004 high school graduate Nick Rempel.

If you hire LEAVEY ESTATE SALES, your representative will be CATHIE PITTS working with TJ LEAVEY. They will steal your money. Southern California Estate Sales SCAMMED us and CONNED us. SCES was hired to sell our expensive, classic, high quality, like new furniture and original beautiful antiques pieces and stole our furniture and our money.

Cathie came into our home with promises of a successful sale where we would both make money but we received virtually nothing from her. She is the ONLY ONE who made MONEY! She is a big fake.

RUN from SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA ESTATE SALES & APPRAISAL. RUN from any of the Estate Sales companies with the name LEAVEY.

We did not hear from SCES for MONTHS following “Cathie & Crew” removing our furniture! There was zero communication from this company and also resistance to communicate when we contacted her. They did not supply receipts. Everything is faked. This company is VERY dishonest and unprofessional in its representation.

This is an inept and unscrupulous business. CATHIE PITTS had appraised into the thousands and returned with a low three digit figure. HORRIBLE, WE WERE ROBBED!!! We could have sold the furniture at a garage sale and done better.

CATHIE PITTS also changed her own percentage take from what she originally gave. She told us her percent was 25% and then tried to charge us 35%. Everything about this company is unprofessional and dishonest. She is 100% GREEDY.

CATHIE PITTS told us that the sale went great before stalling for months to send a 3 figure check. We were floored and knew immediately that we had been scammed.

CATHIE PITTS did not and has not produced any paperwork to back any of her claims of the sale. There are no photos that our furniture was actually in a sale. I do not believe the antiques were sold at an estate sale. I accuse her of stealing our antiques. There is no copy of an online listing provided to us. She will not provide any proof of the sale.

SCES&A appears to be set up to take advantage of elderly people and their families at a misfortune time of life. We were cheated and would never have done business with such a unprofessional, misleading group of people. I hope this YELP saves you from using this company. WISH we could have been warned about these people.
