R & C Landscape & Lawn Service came to cut my grass and landscape my yard last spring. He stated that he would not do my backyard. So I hired Dusty’s Lawn Service to do it. Rich’s crew cut down all the plants on my hill and did not cut behind my shop. They were supposed to trim my bushes and clean out my flower bed. My bushes were very full and they ruined them. They looked like sticks with a top. They left cross ties that had rotted in my flower bed and removed grass around my maple tree that should not have been removed. We talked about mulch and he gave me a price. I was supposed to call him to make sure that is what I wanted. I had not decided because I had talked to Dusty about whether to use mulch or pine straw. Rich showed up at my house without my knowledge and installed black mulch. When he was finished, he rang the doorbell and left me a bill for more than he had originally quoted me. I went ahead and paid him since he had already done the work. It rained that weekend and the black mulch left a huge mess on my front porch. I called him and sent pictures but he refused to come back and do anything to fix the problem. Since then, I have had gutters installed and have had to have everything ripped out and start all over again. This is what my flower bed looked like after Rich and his crew finished:

Last summer Rich from R&C Landscaping and Lawn Service, responded to a message that I had left him about some landscaping work for my lawn. He came by and was very down to earth and honest about the work and time that it would take to do the job. I had just had my side lawn resodded last year and was very unimpressed with the previous work that had been done. I contracted with Rich to do the job, he was not my cheapest quote but for the money I invested in my yard, he offered the most bang for the buck. He brought in fertilizers, three mixtures of topsoil, rolls of centipede sod, 6 trailers of mulch, and 2 trailers of plants and trees. Rich and his staff completed the job in 3 and a half days. (they worked non stop from sun up to having spotlights out until about 2hrs after dark. I had previous listed my home for sale at 205,000, after the work was complete with new grass mulch beds, plants, trees, and flowers I sold my home for 252,000. I had five offers 2 weeks after the work was completed. Thank you!!!!

It was a small investment but the look and payoff was awesome.
