Rumpke Waste & Recycling

I love Rumpke! I have been a customer of theirs for over 10 years and they have done nothing but bend over backwards for me. I am a big recycler and I had much 5 times more recycle than trash and they worked with me on price and containers to make sure I was able to get all of my recycle taken care of. This company's customer service, billing department, deliveryman of recycle containers and trash collectors have been outstanding. They have actually go out of their way to keep me as a satisfied customer for all of these years. I can't say enough about this company. I would highly recommend them for trash and recycle!

Just had the pleasure of speaking with Juanita, a representative at Rumpke! WOW what a horrible customer service rep! She was very rude to my co-owner and I and even made our renter uneasy with her rudeness! I have used them off and on for 2 years with our rental properties and this is the first time I have had an issue! I usually do not complain or post complaints on websites but today was SO unprofessional and embarrassing for our company and our renter who was in the office with us during the telephone call with Juanita! I will finish out our 3 months and then we will find a new garbage company for our five properties.

When I originally started service it was 48$ every 3 months... now it is up to 82$ and seems like it comes in every month! Its ridiculous how much they charge! Especially when a friend who lives 2 blocks over is still paying 60$ for the exact same service!

Every time I get a bill the price goes up and no one else services the area so they have an monopoly on pricing and can jack it up each bill. They don't answer the phone all the time and no answering service. I wouldn't use them if there was someone else to choose from.

They closed "early", and even after I explained that I had a load of recyclables from a middle school, and had been stuck in the rain, in traffic for 40 minutes trying to get to the recycling center, i was informed that "the computer is shut down for the day, and tomorrow is the best they can do." Today was the last day for the middle school to get credit for their recycling in the contest they are in. What nice customer service, right?
