Woodland Tree & Landscape began serving the Madison, NJ, area in 1947. Originally founded by Ed Corpenning of Morristown, the company was bought by Harter Tree in Long Island in 1965. This division of Harter ended up run by Vince Licari, who ultimately bought it in 1974, to truly run it as his own. Primarily doing tree work, they were the area’s first real tree experts.

Today, still run by Vince and Jeff, Woodland employs over a dozen people, specializing in the intricate areas of tree care and landscape design, balancing customers’ desires with expertise and environmental responsibility.
