I have many old back & neck injuries & had been seeing chiropractors weekly for years, yet still had constant daily pain. I decided to try the Pettibon System because I understand isometric exercise, so it sounded plausible. Dr. Art found extensive scar tissue in my back, so my treatment plan has included the Pettibon exercises plus stretching & manipulation to break up the scar tissue, along with chiropractic adjustment. I have been astounded at Dr. Art’s effectiveness. I was using 1600mg ibuprofen daily plus Vicodin at night & now need nothing at all for my back. I could not lift, carry, walk any distance, or sit for more than 30 min., and I limped much of the time. Exercise was impossible. My pain & mobility were improved by about 20% after two visits, and it has become steadily better; my pain is now about 5% of what it was and mobility is full range. Recently I raced my son to the car (and won) and when he caught up he said, “Mom! You can RUN?” I can now, thanks to Dr. Art.

P.S. If you're thinking, "This place is getting such glowing reviews, but there's got to be a catch": You MUST do your home exercises for the treatment to work. It takes about 15 min per day and you just stand still with the weights on--it's not difficult or painful, but it does require developing a new habit. Make the commitment and you'll see the results.

Dr. Art and his system really got to the heart of my problem. I had a lot of little ailments, carpal tunnel, neck pain, and a stiff lower back, that added up to just feeling miserable. After seeing the doctor for a few weeks and doing my at home work, I feel like a whole new person. Who knew that your spine needed maintenance, just like your teeth. Anyway - I feel a lot better and highly recommend this office to anyone with neck, back, or even wrist problems.
