Stanwood Area Federal Credit Union

If searching for a credit union, and you choose Stanwood, be prepared for absolutely ridiculous charges. You will receive charges upon charges. You will receive charges for NSF fees, when your account has more than enough balance to cover it. They give you charges for items on hold that do not even total the amount you spent,( I.e. a $20 gas purchase) would be put through as a hold for $100, and you would receive a fee even though you only spent $20. Then you speak to the "manager" and you're told that you can't do math. Trust me when I say, you do not want to use this credit union.
