Emergency One Urgent Care should let patients know before we pay that they cannot deliver the care or prescriptions needed. Seems like all they care about is $ or they would advise you to seek out Primary Care for those areas they cannot deal with. I wasted my time twice at Emergency One Urgent Care as the fake doctors (nurse practitioners) could not do what I came in to do and of course, they take your money before they see you. They won't ever take my money, again!

I recently went there for a DOT examination and I was sent to a Physicians Assistant by the name of Elizabeth Adolfie. The application was done on an electronic type board. I was unfamiliar with this system, therefore, I requested help, and the receptionist filled it out for me. Mind you, I was later accused by Elizabeth, of lying on the electronic application and was told that I could fail the DOT exam because of this. I complied with all their requests and went above and beyond by going to my physicians with the forms that were needed to be filled out by my physicians to speed up the process. After supplying them with all the information they requested, they never got back to me. When I went to their office to inquire about my results, I asked to speak with Elizabeth and was first told she was not there, then I was told she was there, then instead of seeing her the receptionist sent out the Office Manager, Todd Martin. I expressed that I was there to talk with Elizabeth since she was the PA that was handling my medical examination. I was later told by Todd to leave that I had no business being there. The people at Emergency One are unprofessional and rude. Maybe they treat folks like me this way because I didn't walk in sick or because I was not a paying customer. I was sent there by a company for a DOT examination. I am very grateful that I have my own professional doctors who are professional (not a 3 year Physician Assistant who thinks she is a doctor) and hope that I would never have to need the medical services at Emergency One in New Windsor.

Brought my husband there due to a possibly broken hand. Receptionist, intake nurse were excellent! The "Dr." (who is actually a nurse practictoner, not a Dr. - and yes, there's a difference) is completely another story. There were two people ahead of us and one behind us. Jill Tschinkel did not bother to stay in the room long enough to finish a sentence without running back out the door to go who knows where. Sorry, we're being charged the same as everyone else and would appreciate being treated like human beings and not cattle. We had questions that went unanswered because she never stayed in the room with us long enough to ask the questions much less get the answers. The kicker to this is that this morning, he called to get confirmation as to whether the radiologist found anything else on the Xray, mentions he was surprised at her treatment yesterday and gets told "if you didn't like it then you shouldn't come back". Guess what! We we won't and neither will anyone else we know. How unprofessional!
