He strives to achieve the best results to always use the most conservative and least invasive procedures that will produce the best results.Examples of this would include: doing non-surgical periodontal or gum treatments instead of surgery, doing a nerve treatment preserving the nerve rather than a full root canal treatment, and doing a partial crown, onlay, rather than a very invasive full crown.In addition to being in private practice for over 38 years, Dr. Veligdan was also a Clinical Professor of Dentistry for 24 years at Columbia University Dental School. He was on staff at The Presbyterian Hospital of NYC for 19 years. Dr. Veligdan has been a Leader in Cosmetic Dentistry and Bonding since 1975 and a pioneer in Porcelain Laminate Veneers since 1981. He has lectured nationally and internationally on the latest techniques in Cosmetic Dentistry and Porcelain Veneers, and created first teaching videotape of the technique for dentists and students.Dr. Veligdan was elected to The National Dental Honor Society (top 10%), Omicron Kappa Upsilon, and was included in the 2012 "The Leading Physicians of the World. He appeared in the premier issue of Marquis' Who's Who in Medicine and Healthcare. Provided by Doctor.comDr. Veligdan is an amazing dentist. He is very knowledgeable in regular dentistry as well as holistic dentistry as well. He does not rush you and takes his time, and only finishes until he has completed the work and you are completely satisfied. His front desk assistant as well as dental assistant are both caring, polite, and do an excellent job as well. Dr. Veligdan is very caring and goes above and beyond and even calls you in the evening after your appointment to see how you are feeling-something few if any dentists do. I highly recommend Dr. Veligdan, he is highly skilled, experienced and you will not regret coming to him.

Provided by Doctor.comMy experience with Dr.Veligdan was very good. He is a very knowledgeable doctor and he knows how to explain details about my teeth in gums in a way where i fully understood. He was also very careful and clean once they began. Brianna the dental assistant was so kind and nice and reassuring that i was in good hands.The staff were very polite and welcoming into the office and took care of everything after my visit to make sure i was all good and set. Overall i had a really good experience with Dr.Veligdan. Definitely reccommend!!

Provided by Doctor.comI've been coming for a few years. I visited other dentists, who were also highly rated. Dr. Veligdan exceeds all other experiences. What's amazing about him is his clear passion and excitement for the craft. He knows so much and has seen so much you know every decision is the right one. I remember I had to do another visit while on an extended stay and the other dentist commented on how natural the work done looked. I feel the best accolades are given by peers. Dr. V is the way to go!
