Petco

I made an appt for my maltese-poodle for a Saturday @ 10am, this was our first time at PETCO for a bath/grooming. We told them how we wanted him cut and they said no problem he would be ready for pick up around 2 or 2:30. Well 2:30 came and went and my husband called to check on him, they told us we needed to come around 4 to pick up. He told them that we had plans that night and we couldn't wait until 4 to come and he asked if they had even started on his bath or cut. They hesistated and then said yes; when we got there at 3:30 they had just started trimming around his face and ears. Long story short when we checked out with were charged an extra $6 for a special shampoo, when we got home my husband told me that he didn't smell like he had a bath. I also smelled him and i agreed that he didn't have a bath, he smelled just like he did when we dropped him off. I called back to PETCO and asked to speak with the person who had bathed him, they said that they had left for the day but i could speak with the groomer. I asked them what type of shampoo they used on my dog and he told me it was just the standard, so not only was my dog NOT bathed but we were charged an extra 6 bucks for "special" shampoo. DO NOT USE PETCO, they aren't customer or pet friendly!!!!
