Applebee's

Hostess and waitresses are rude and filthy dirty, manager is ok but no discipline to waitresses, take forever for a drink to come out, foods are blanche, no seasoning at all and waitress have finger in food. Never seen things like it.

Went on a date to. We waited 20 mins for our waitress. The waitresses was standing around talking instead of taking customers order. We order salad the salad had too much dressing & cheese. The only thing we ate was the chicken. Nice restaurant but SERVICE SUCKS.

I've gone to the Applebees on Springfield Avenue several times. I work in the downtown Newark area and frequently need to catch a bite to eat with co-workers and/or business prospects. I've picked up a platter to go, as well as stayed to enjoy a meal. I like that the decor celebrates the local high schools and colleges. As a graduate of Science High and Rutgers University, it makes me feel good to eat in a local establishment that offers a tasty meal without having to travel up a highway or across a bridge. Glad they're in town.



Service is usually polite and timely. Glad I never ran into Rude Roger as the previous rater seems to have had a pretty lousy experience with that individual. Perhpas Roger's been fired, which would speak to an effective managment team. :)

TONIGHT ME AND A FRIEND WENT TO APPLEBEES FOR HER BIRTHDAY, UPON ARRIVAL AT THE APPLEBEE,S WE WERE GREETED ,ASK TO SET DOWN. WAITED 10 MIN BEFORE WE HAD TO GET UP AND ASK WHO, OUR SERVER WAS. THEN GOT A VERY RUDE SERVER BY THE NAME OF ROGER H. THEN WAITED 20 MORE MIN.BEFORE WE GOT OUR FOOD. THAN AT THE END OF ALL THAT GOT THE CHECK ONLY TO BE ASKED BY RUDE ROGER HOW WAS THE SERVICE I STATED THAT IF WAS THE WOREST I HAD SEEN IN A VERY LONG TIME. ONLY FOR MR RUDE ROGER TO STATED TO ANOTHER CO WORKER FROM ACROSS THE FLOOR THAT HE IS SORRY HE WAITED ON TABLE. WELL I AM TO. MY FIRST ANF LAST TIME AT APPLEBEE'S
