El Merengue Restaurant & Lounge

I use to love to go to the El Merengue, But now the service is not as good as it was a year ago. I went about 6 months ago and my husband and I waited for 20 minutes to get the attention of one of the servers. Then when we got to get some service, the girl forgot to get my tostones. After we almost finish with our meal, I told her to forget it. Why write it down if you are not going to read it. Another time, i was very hungry and asked for a enpanada and it was horrible. It was a beef patty with a different taste to it, it was not a sazon taste, and I told the waitress that after a bite it was awful. I told her to take it back, and she told me that since no one else complain about it that I had to pay for it. When ever I have eaten somewhere else they take it off my check, not here. I had to pay for it. It has changed so much there that I don't go anymore. It is a shame because the food is good. But management has to get more people there and not overwork these people and make customer happy.
